Activities at the campsite

At Camping des Forges, you can enjoy a pétanque court, a children’s playground, and the opportunity to fish in the Doubs River.

A few hundred meters away is the Euro Vélo 6 cycle path connecting Nantes to Budapest, from where you can reach Dole (28 km) or Besançon (25 km). Access to the Royal Saltworks of Arc et Senans (12 km) is possible via a beautiful cycle path through the Chaux Forest.

Fishing permits can be purchased at https://www.cartedepeche.fr/ and at Le Valerian tobacconist’s.

There are also beautiful hikes to discover in the area.

Renovated by the municipality in spring 2013, Les Forges de Fraisans, a historic site on the banks of the Doubs River, has become a must-see cultural venue in the Jura region. The Forges Cultural Association offers a varied and high-quality cultural program throughout the year.

And every summer, for a month, the Guinguette des Forges brings the venue to life, with numerous musical groups performing.
